A few photos from Mull. The first leg of the SIPR started with strong winds and fast sailing times to Mull. The runners headed off into steadily worsening conditions on the hill, with high winds, low cloud and driving rain. One team developed hypothermia necessitating the callout of mountain rescue, and a helicopter night rescue off Ben More. Fortunately the runner recovered sufficiently to be delivered back to his waiting boat. Oban mountain rescue team report. Much more to come… or is there?
But in the mean time – this one is worth a caption competition I think. Entries on Facebook
