After a swift run across the darkness of the golf course we descended through the old filled in quarry to the foot of Blackford quarry. With a run straight up the Hermitage we headed on through the tennis courts and after the usual walll jump, headed tor Easter Craiglockhart. The view to the bridges was spectacular and after a photo stop we returned along the north side of The Hermitage and summited Blackford before returning to KB, 5.5 miles in just under 1 hour 20 minutes.
