Congratulations to all who turned out a bitterly cold day. It was good to see you all with hats, gloves and waterproofs to repel the snow flurries. Everyone who had run before ran faster, despite the conditions. Well done indeed. We hope that you will keep improving and perhaps become stars of the future. The famous greeting of the late Robin Morris was “Keep on Running”. Very good advice!
As usual, we are grateful to our band of helpers: Ian and Anne Nimmo, who helped mark the starts and finishes on Friday.
The Lothian Running Club crew: Edel, Nicola Val, Joyce, Robbie and Mark did a power of good work, course marking, marshalling, etc..
Thanks also to Elma the International Smile Judge.
Next in the Hill Fun Run series:
Tinto Tiptoe (At Tinto Hill Race) Saturday November 10th.
Cockleroy Chaser (At free Festive Handicap races). Wednesday December 26th.

P.S. This was the last time that I shall attempt to organise the Congrie Conga, though anyone else is welcome to have a go.
