Carnethy Hill from
Scald Law, minutes before the start of the 37th Run-4-It Carnethy '5'
Hill Race.
As
you can see, 2007's
weather was just about perfect - which may be one reason why we
had a record number of runners (with 484 finishers).
Olly Stephenson
did a great
job in this, his first year as race organiser - aided
by
various outside groups and a
well-oiled Carnethy crew.
There were
several people who ran the Carnethy '5' on Saturday followed by a cross
country on Sunday (including one over-70!).
Hill runners are nothing
if not tough!
