5th August 2006
British and Scottish Championship Race
Over 200 runners ran - internationalists, shinty players and holidaymakers included. Some even entered the relays and track events in the Highland Games afterwards (and were comprehensively beaten by young speed merchants). It was a warm day and the river proved popular at the end. The photos are not in any particular order!

Flotsam and jetsam?

The new Carnethy vests (Willie's and Hilary's) were easy to spot

The up and down routes are slightly apart here

Hilary hates descending

What a shame - they'll even miss the view on the way down - if they watch their feet!
