Start location
       Alternative parking lochside

Route Description:

Start at the gate just E of the group of houses. Follow the track leading from the gate initially dirt/gravel then turning grassy past the wood and up the hill to above a small col.
start
Leave the track, cross the col (CP1) and pick up a further grassy track continuing up the hill to reach a gate. Cross the gate and continue in the same line up the hill, initially following an intermittent trod which turns into a soggy indistinct track (if in doubt stay parallel to the fence line about 30m to the W of you). Once the track becomes more distinct it will start turning W and get closer to the fence. Resist the temptation to make for the fence and stay on the track till you go over a rise and can see Dundreich.

Pick up a trod going R several meters before a concrete post which takes you to the fence. Continue along fence. Do NOT cross the fence. Follow this to the summit of Dundreich (CP2). At the Summit turn sharp right and descend on a good trod along the N ridge.

At the col (CP3) cross the wall and pick up the obvious quad bike track climbing up R-wards from the col. Leave this when it turns L at the top of the hill and continue along intermittent trods and tracks keeping along the crest of the wide grassy ridge (alternative lines possible). Descent to the stream by the end of a boundary wall. Cross the stream and pick up a trod which turns into a quad bike track taking you up a shallow valley to the col (CP4) you previously crossed on the way out. From here descend back along the track.

Parking:
There is space for a couple of cars at the start but please leave these for the handicapper, race timers and recorders. Do NOT park in front of any gateways, or block the narrow part of the road.
