The winning team

There was a good turn out of Carnethies at the alternative to Durisdeer.
The weather was fair and getting warmer as the race pace hotted up.
I enjoyed the run to corstorphine especially as I managed to get a few people to follow me until my jink into the bushes and up the hill, leaving them a little lost.
By Corstorphine the race was sorted out, and Jamie and I josstled with each other the rest of the way.

After the run

Jamie made a wrong turn at Craiglockhart , allowing me to catch him and I showed him the short cuts through Blackford before he led me through the Allotments. He finally got away from me at the top of Arthur's Seat and I stayed behind him to the end.
Carnethy did very well and must win the team prize! although it had not been announced.
The Ladies race was won by Claire Williams (2nd Claim Carnethy) and Gillian Mckelvie (2nd Claim Carnethy) was second (I think). Karen Meikle, Kate Friend and Joanne Thin also must have won the Ladies team prize.
There were a few other Carnethies out too , Ian Forrest , some doing the Challenge!! Win Rampen, Jamie Taylor and Ben Bate.

Thanks to the organisers for an excellent race
