of folk came out to watch another running legend, Paula Radcliffe,
win gold in the main event of the day in Holyrood Park. She had
a battle on her hands with the Turkish Ethiopian Abeylegesse hanging
on until Paula got a decisive winning gap on the slopes of Haggis
Knowe on the last lap. Both the Senior and Junior Women won team gold to cap a great day of athletics. |
