On Monday the Carnethy Ladies and Bill returned to Aberlady for a beach run over to Gullane. A rainy day had turned into a lovely evening as we ran along the sand dunes to the beach and saw three young deer by Yellow Mires. Lots of summer flowers were in bloom, including several purple orchids. Kirsty and Ina ran an extra mile or two trying to find Kirsty’s brand new electric pink cycling jacket, which was lost on the way out. If any Carnethies are at Aberlady in the next week or so, please look out for Kirsty’s jacket. It was great to meet up with Bill who came out for a walk among the sand dunes.
