We Nearly Mist the Summit – Easy Run
It was a damp day, with virtually non stop rain, so I wasn’t too surprised when I was on my own at 7:29. But then the hardy Michaela and then a later a “stuck in traffic” Grace appeared.
We headed across Craigmillar Park in the mizzle and then climbed to the Braids. The Braids were swathed in mist, so we ran in a more or less random direction looking for the “up” that would lead us to the top.
After one wrong turn we did make the trig point so braved the Mortonhall Golf Course and ran round the course not visiting “The Stable Bar” this week (only 2 weeks until the Pub Run). Then a slightly elongated route to the driving range and then back past the Liberton Tower.
KB building works added a little to the end of the run as we found our way round the fences to Make KB afte 5.6 miles in just over 75 minutes.
Great Fun.
