There were options for all the family at this race yesterday, human as well as canine with 2k, 5k and 7k routes and Cani-cross. Unfortunately neither my kids or dog expressed any interest so I did the 7k all by myself. It was a lovely route but I really could have done with a dog to pull me up the long slog to the top of the highland boundary fault. Typical Trossachs weather meant the views were obscured by mist but you normally get a cracking vista across to Ben Venue. The results aren’t up yet – they should appear on skiddadle.org at some point – but I believe I was 4th non dog-assisted lady.
