There was a good turn out from Carnethy at the Borders Cross Country race at Dunbar on Sunday. Before the race there was a minute of silence in rememberance of those affected by the atrocities in Paris on Friday night.
The weather was better than expected and there was just a gentle drizzle and virtually no wind, which made a nice change after Storm Abigail. First Carnethy home was Michael Reid, who was placed second overall, but first for the V40s. Vicki and I were the last Carnethies back, but not the last runners. Full results are here.

Other Carnethy results include Stewart Whitlie, who was first Over 50 man, and Hilary Spenceley the first Over 50 woman but most impressive was John Hammond who finished 4th after a 6th place at Tinto the day before!
