Squall was word of the day in both senses of the word
noun
1. a sudden violent gust of wind or localized storm,
verb
1. cry noisily and continuously.
There was a lot of both as the brief but grim weather came through. Most of the dirty dozen had stories of being cold, slipping and wishing they had bigger gloves. Stewart said it was “fun” but I might have misheard. John did well his first official one – hope it wasn’t too short for you. Dessie gets double honours for his fastest time and best handicap performance.
It was fantastic to see a great turn out we’ll see you Feb 6th.
