With a fair amount of precipitation happening, only 7 hardy Carnethies braved the weather on Wednesday night. It was more like a winter run than a summer one as we headed up Blackford and through the Hermitage in the heavy rain.
As we were waiting at the gate on the Buckstone path, Michael mentioned the possibility of a beer at The Stable Bar. The temptation was too great for 5 of us, Oz and Diggers headed back as the rest of us went for the alcohol fix. The Barman greeted us as regulars (every Christmas and every Pub’n Cips run), and refused payment for out sustenance. With a tenner still in his pocket Michael and the rest of us headed back to KB to dry out.
A pleasant 6.5 miles! Where were you all? Next week we are doing a “Fasta Pasta” run, lets hope the weather turns more Summerish!
