Caerketton Hill race had previously been scheduled to take place this coming Wednesday, 12th August but sadly will not be happening as a result of Covid-19.
However, there is still opportunity to take part in a virtual challenge event which will be run in similar fashion to Carnethy handicap events.
You just need to time yourself over the route anytime between Monday 10th August and Sunday 17th August, email me your time and I’ll collate and publish the results.
No entry fee or prizes, just painful quads and opportunity to have your name in lights or at least included in the list of published times!
Hopefully most of you will be familiar route. Start and finish is beside bench just above hill-end lower car-park. Basically follow track up from there, through gate above\east of ski-slope, follow path up alongside fence, keep to left of first summit cairn and then along flatter ground to 2nd summit cairn. Turn around and then back via same route.
There is a Strava segment which shows the route: https://www.strava.com/segments/25217958
Any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, just email me across your finish time (details on race page).
Non-Carnethy runners welcome to take part.
