SHR held its annual Prizegiving and Ceilidh after the Meall a’Bhuachaille race on the 26th October. Carnethy fared well, with winners across categories and strong club positions. Here’s a link to a great write-up here.
For those that just want a quick Carnethy summary:
Alexander Chepelin won the u23 easily, winning every qualifier he ran. Helen Fallas finished third lady in the senior competition. Eliot Sedman was the leading Carnethy male in the senior competition, finishing 7th and winning the over 40s championship. Stewart Whitlie produced another great performance winning the over 50’s championship. Alan Hogg also ran a great championship, finishing 4th in the over 60s.
In the team competitions we also fared well, finishing 2nd in both the male club championships (senior and v40), 3rd in the female v40 championship and 4th in the female senior championship.
Fantastic running from all!
Finally, well done to all those completing the championship – I hope your morning coffee tastes a little bit better when served in your new SHR mug!
