Matthew is this month’s winner with a great most improved time for the challenging conditions.
Peter had the fastest time and got back with an impressive sub 30.
It was a tough SW windy gusting 35-40kts – just as well some of us had prepared with festive kilo loading over xmas.
“Felt I was nearly airborne a few times going up the main summit!”
Handicap connoisseur Jamie was impressed “the Handicaps worked well today as we were all clustered together going down the screes and up Haggis knowe ready for a sprint finish (into the wind!)”
Mark got a heavily wind assisted PB on the gutted haddie strava segment. “Then tried to double back from the summit into the wind to take the route to Nether which was nearly impossible! – gave up and had to find another way.”
A big Edinburgh welcome to Michal Bryxi who is new in town (not with an Edinburgh based club at the moment😊). He did a superfast 41 mins even with the wind and a few head scratching moments.
See you lunchtime Monday 4 February
