With the weather Gods predicting Snow The run we chose was staying low So as at 7:30 the night is dark We ran off through Craigmillar Park we ducked below the old barbed wire And climbed the seat to get us higher and ran along the road wall edge The in to the playing fields thick hedge Getting out was such a synch We headed on across the Insh And Dalkeith Road we crossed “Nae Hassle” On through the woods and to The Castle The turrets flashed in head torch light and saw a cats eyes through the night By the paths the group did run To the Playground and some fun our inner child we couldn’t hide As we all slid down the slide then quickly on to Cameron Toll To KB House, our final Goal We had all got out to play And “Thundersnow” had stayed away |
