An entertaining circuit of the Eastern Lammermuirs and coastline from slightly below sea level to 356m over 65km and about 1000m climb. We enjoyed a narrow weather window of mild light breezes and occasional sun.
Features included cement works, recycling plant, more meltwater channels, SSSI conglomerate ravine with dodgy escape, more wind farms, wartime aircraft crash memorial, retreat from uncrossable ford, boulder beach, nuclear plant seawall, and a fair amount of connecting roads between.
