Pacidnah is the reverse running of the usual handicap route… congratulations to Gordon Cameron backwards navigation in dry conditions for the win.
Peter Gardiner had the fastest time.

Derek reckons, “That was the best conditions I’ve ever run the reverse route in. It made the Gutted Haddie descent almost safe(ish)! I hope everyone appreciated my gardening skills if they took the most optimal line off Whinny!” – Thanks Derek, much appreciated
Stephen Magee “Turned up watchless – luckily I bumped into Gordon (and Amber)”
Jamie had a good return after a few weeks off running,
“… Nice to do the route in reverse, had to keep thinking about best route, rather than go into auto-pilot!”
Jamie added, “. Avoided the Gutted Haddie… the runner in front of me went down it and didn’t make up anytime
on me .. not sure my ‘short-cut’ down the left-hand side of the steps was much of a help .. well over-grown with
brambles now!! plus a new fence near the foot of the steps… Peter G said he was gaining on me .. when he was
going down the steps.. but then he’s faster than me anyway!”
There were a few tired legs out there with Mark and Anthony having had hard races Sunday but still putting in good times.
By tradition we avoid Mayday so next race is lunchtime 13th May
Thanks to all who came along
