A welcomed return of the classic 7 Hills Race after a virtual version in 2020. A 30 second waved approach at the start with two groups helped avoid any early bottlenecks.
A dominant club result with 11 Carnethy members finishing in the race top 30. 158 runners in total, 25 from Carnethy. James Dunn of Corstorphine AAC was the resounding winner with a very impressive 1hr 36min 14secs. 10 minutes ahead of 2nd place.
A further 11 Carnethy members took part in the in the slightly earlier starting Challenge event, which is the same course.
Some exhausted finishers as the day heated up. There was plenty of water on course and organisation was brilliant as usual.
