An amazing turnout of 16 outstanding runners made this a real free lunchtime show. Maybe we should have left a hat out.
A big welcome to Stephen Magee who had a bit of fun finding the scree but will be troubling the top places next month.
Peter found it a bit slippy up the crags and so was descending more cannily than usual.
Claire managed to chew 4 minutes off her handicap even though she took a new line off Crow, and did the traverse of shame through the thistles before crossing the road. Being the only athlete in hi vis it wasn’t noticed much.
Fantastic first win for Liam Riggins with a scorching run burning his way through with a big improvement on his last time.
Narrowly squeezed out was Jamie Thin who was superfast even in the wind.
The red vested James Britton had the fastest time this week with a Nether before Arthur Option.
See you Monday 1st April for the Pacidnah.
