On Sunday 25th August at 12pm, CAAC will be hosting the Baddingsgill Round hill race, West Linton, for it’s eighth year.
The route is on faint hill tracks and sheep trods, making up much of the natural skyline of a circuit of the hills around Baddingsgill Reservoir. The ground is soft over grass, heather or mossy terrain. It is 10.2 miles with 650m ascent. There are 9 waypoints and 4 marshalled points.
It’s well worth a recce and Corstorphine AC friend, Fiona Carver, lead us around.
Hopefully the photos will show what a great route this is and encourage Carnethy members to take part. At £5 entry fee, what’s not to like?
