Congrats to Neil Adams with the win for this months lunch handicap. A fantastic improvement. The half recce last week must have been the key.
It was an impressive dusty dozen impressing the tourists on a gusty day. Tough up them crags but great to see most improving their time this week.
Peter Gardner was just back from Paternity Leave but put in the fastest time and a hair away from a PB. (Congratulations – you look properly knackered now)
A big welcome to Jelmer who had done a recce but sensibly stuck to Mike for the first one. He’s gonna be a sub 30 by end of the year. See you next month.
Great to see Jill and Paul back for their first handicap of the year. Paul did his a bit later on but I slotted him in to the results as if he started on time.
I had a wee head to head with Cameron. I took the Nether first option but I was undecided on which overgrown shortcuts to take between the steps so it didn’t work for me this time.
Cameron got a bit entangled in inner Whinney. He said, “On the plus side there were fewer tourists around – albeit they had left some nasty surprises hiding in the gorse!”.
Finally best wishes to Jamie who is recovering from a bike fall.
See you 7th Oct
